It all began in 1878 when Henry Weston began to produce ciders and perries.Using the wide variety of regional fruit grown in the surrounding orchards, he started pressing and blending. The fermented juice soon proved so popular that his work evolved into a business. Today The Bounds, the charming 17th century farmhouse and cider mill where it all began, remains home to his craft. Ive been Managing Director since 1996, and have been privileged to see some of the most exciting changes yet. Everyone remains passionate about producing the best cider. I like to think if my Great Grandfather were here, hed be amazed but also proud.
