This rum is packed with mouth watering flavours that include maple, chocolate, honey and toffee and presents a rich full-bodied taste that tapers off in to the classic rum finish. With 7 years ageing comes quite a lot of detail if you ask me- Offers golden syrup and black treacle. Some cocoa, spices. Bourbon smoke, char, vanilla on the nose. Whilst thepalate has a lovely dark chocolate/ Tiramisu feel to it. The finish is all about cocoa and creme brulee. It can be enjoyed neat as a sipping rum, or over ice, equally it can mix a stunning contemporary take on a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned.

Product Description
How life changes. Angostura Bitters were originally made by a surgeon, Dr Siegert, for his medical practice back in 1824. I doubt he had any inkling that the business would go on to change so radically- not only for the obvious reasons, but also the business would move from Venezuela to Trinidad some 50 years later. They were more renowned for their aromatic bitters until roughly 1940 when a conscious decision to increase their expertise in and production of Rum was taken.
