Madame Clicquot was an audacious woman. When her husband died in 1805, she took over the reins of the business at 27 years old, with one tireless vision Only one quality, the finest. With its equilibrium that tends towards sweet and fruit flavours, Veuve Clicquot Demi-Sec is perfectly suited for dessert paired with millefeuille, vanilla, pears with caramel or even blue cheese.

Product Description
Demi-Sec is predominantly Pinot Noir (40-45%), which gives the champagne its fundamental structure. The pursuit of very distinct fruit flavors means that there is a higher level of Meunier (30-35%) in the blend than would typically be found in Yellow Label, for example, and Chardonnay completes the blend (20-25%). The inclusion of 30-45% reserve wines ensures the consistency of the Veuve Clicquot style.
Tasting Notes
On the nose: It is rich in the scents of ripe fruit (candied fruits, berry liquor), with hints of toasts and brioche.et toasties. On the palate: In the mouth, the wine displays both roundness and mellowness, combined with a delightful freshness due to its gentle acidity. The aromas of ripe fruit are very noticeable.
